To lead an admirable life, one shall seek out reasons to be appreciative for the splendor that exists in unison with the present. By hunting for causes that generate feelings of gratitude from within, one is able to perceive the space in the proper mindset, which is the ultimate goal for all in the flesh. Regardless of what’s playing out in someone’s reality, all moments spent feeling indebted to the universe are moments well-spent.

Though hellacious turmoil caused from the nightmarish strike of ’94 led to an abbreviated regular season in 1995, Major League Baseball was able to head into the 1996 season with more momentum than the financial numbers revealed. In the first year of the revised playoff structure, the format that was supposed to debut in 1994, the baseball world was fortunate to watch the two best teams, Atlanta and Cleveland, oust their league-mates en route to reaching the championship round.

Action Figures Are Still Cool
I Was Once Featured on BodyBuilding.com
Never in a million years did I ever envision myself participating in a fitness-focused photo shoot. Yet, when I was promoting Trust the Grind, my indifference toward the concept melted away. In reflection at 29 years old, I’m quite glad it did.
I Made it to the NBA
When I first laced up my Air Jordan Retro 5 Grape shoes for my high school prom in 2013, I never expected the exclusive kicks to blast me into the NBA like the Nike Blazer ’77s did for Calvin Cambridge in the movie Like Mike. Yet, here we are. The pair of shoes that Michael Jordan sported on a Wheaties box in 1991 were the very sneakers that have since supercharged me to a job with the league.

No matter what stage you’re at in this game of life, your experience in the present moment can be sensed as a puzzle. The pieces making up your current riddle are comprised of past happenings, and your primary goal, as a conscious soul, is to, over and over, formulate these fragments into a polished work of art.
